Description:

Come join fellow Gilda’s Club members for an art workshop dedicated to mindfulness and letting go. Relax your heart and mind while you explore a variety of natural and man-made materials to build an ephemeral artwork. Whether you make a zen garden or a mandala, this process will give you an opportunity to slow down, reduce stress and focus on the here and now through tactile sensations. Practice letting go by taking your artwork apart before you leave.

Please Note:

  • SUMMER ART workshops will be held OUTDOORS on the Gilda’s Club patio through the summer season, unless weather is inclement.Please dress for the weather.
  • Art materials are provided (unless otherwise noted)
  • Please bring any supplies from home you’d like to incorporate into your artwork/s

About Linn-Miller:

Molly Linn-Miller has been working as a registered art therapist for 15 years. She provided art therapy and support for both individuals and groups. She works with a variety of populations including families living with cancer, those recovering from substance abuse, adults with autism and pre-school aged children.

Molly paints large-scale murals and makes mixed-media art using fiber and other natural materials. In addition to art-making she enjoys hiking with her husband, two boys, and pup, Eddy, cooking and eating with her girlfriends and playing ultimate frisbee.
